After breakfast at the Marina of Agadir, make your way to the artisan and cultural complex Medina of Agadir, commonly known as the Medina Polizzi. A few kilometers from downtown Agadir, the locations provide an opportunity to learn about Soussi architecture and handicrafts while strolling amongst pavilions and gardens. After exploring the shops and handicraft workshops, conclude your stay at the complex’s restaurant to sample the region’s gastronomic delights.

Step 2: Taroudant

The journey continues in Taroudant, known as little Marrakech. Taroudant’s medina, surrounded by majestic ramparts, is a jewel of beauty and culture. It has retained its unique charm and ancient traditions. Cross the ocher fortress to reach the artisanal Souk and its various handicraft shops. Walk through its covered streets, passing by boutiques and shops selling various handicrafts such as leather products, jewelry, silverware, tapestry, pottery, etc. You can also discover ancestral secrets of leather production by visiting the old tannery north of the medina.

At sunset, go on a nice romantic ride around the ramparts in a horse-drawn carriage.

On the way back, stop at one of the rest areas and have a delicious Maazi tagine as a gourmet dinner.
